Sarah Kaufman Returns, Headlines Invicta FC Saturday



We begin the weekend this Saturday with Invicta FC 27, as Sarah Kaufman makes her return to the all-female promotion to take on Pannie Kianzad.

Set for the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, the action streams live on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Kaufman, a former Strikeforce champion, is 18-4 in her career with one no-contest. She previously competed for Invicta FC in 2013 and holds wins over Liz Carmouche, Leslie Smith and Roxanna Modafferi to her credit.

Kianzad enters the bantamweight affair at 8-2 following losses to former Invicta FC champion Tonya Evinger and challenger Raquel Pa’aluhi.

The co-main event boasts a battle between Vanessa Porto and Mariana Morais. Porto stopped Milana Dudieva this past December, improving to 19-8 overall. Morais is fighting for the first time with Invicta FC since 2015.
